Covid-19 Safety Protocols
The health and safety of our customers and staff is our number one priority. We have put in place Covid-19 safety protocols at Taverna to help protect you, our staff's health and the community. Taverna restaurants will be following all policies and procedures as required by local and state governments.
All Taverna employees are required to wear face masks
All Taverna employees are required to take and log their temperatures before their shift begins.
✓Daily Pre-shift Checks
All Taverna employees are reminded daily during their pre-shift meeting (both lunch and dinner) that if they do not feel well, they do not have to work and will still be provided job security with the company.
✓Sanitizing and disinfecting
To ensure safety and cleanliness:
• Each seating area is thoroughly sanitized after each use
•The restaurant is thoroughly sanitized and disinfected daily
•Sanitation stations are available throughout the restaurant for employees and guests
•Plastic menus are wiped down and sanitized after every use
•Disposable menus available
•All plastic menu covers are wiped down and sanitized after every use
Any employee exhibiting symptoms will have a Covid-19 test administered by a physician, at the cost of the company.
Taverna restaurants will be using the Modjoul app to track each employee's health and readiness for work. Employees will be required to show their health results to the manager on duty before each shift begins.
